Cable Welcomes Candace Sjogren as Chief Revenue Officer

Cable, the all-in-one financial crime effectiveness testing platform, today announced that Candace Sjogren has joined the company as Chief Revenue Officer. Sjogren is a proven leader with significant experience in GTM strategy, sales, business development, and public relations in the financial services industry. She joins Cable as the company is poised to rapidly expand its customer base, market presence, and product portfolio following a successful $11 million Series A funding round earlier this year.

With extensive experience and an impressive track record in leading high-performing revenue teams that consistently deliver strong results, Sjogren will play a pivotal role in the company's Go to Market strategy. She will oversee revenue growth, customer acquisition, and marketing amid a rising market demand for Cable’s platform.

Most recently, Sjogren served as Senior Vice President, Global Head of Sales at Zero Hash, the leading crypto-as-a-service provider, where she led marketing, sales, product innovation, and strategy. Prior to that, Sjogren led product, GTM, and sales teams at Socure, the leading identity verification provider in the US, and Marqeta, the modern card issuing platform.

“I am incredibly excited that Candace has joined our team,” said Natasha Vernier, Cable’s CEO. “From the very first moment we spoke with her, it was clear that we would benefit from her exceptional GTM and sales leadership experience, her knowledge of the financial industry, and her strong cultural fit. I’m confident she will be invaluable in driving the next phase of our continuing growth journey.”

“When I first spoke with Natasha Vernier and Katie Savitz, I immediately saw something special in Cable’s culture, team, and the problems we are solving,” said Sjogren. “Cable’s automation of critical compliance assurance and testing processes is unparalleled in the industry, and proving to be indispensable to banks, fintechs, and crypto firms. I’m thrilled to join Cable and look forward to our exciting growth trajectory,” said Sjogren.
